I'm worried about the way the spirits here are acting. They're confused, like something has upset their way of being, but I'm not sensing a source of specifically magical or spiritual disruption. Or maybe I'm just not trained to see what I need to.

It feels like something new.

Does "confusion" refer to general disorientation, or is there a more specific topic which is not properly understood?

A general etheric disorientation seems like the safest bet, but if they're trying to tell me something more specific I haven't been able to make it out. I never did quite learn how to speak the spirit tongues.

What I mean to say is that they're out of this world.

They're actually mostly occurring in a parallel spirit realm. You know, reality with an overlay of etheric goodness. As a fully realized magi, portions of my thought process happen mostly in other dimensions, so really, it could be said that I'm not occurring entirely on this planet, either.

Acknowledged. Can purely physical events result in etheric impacts?

Hmm. That's actually a really interesting question. Is there such a thing as a purely physical event? I've never lived in a period of magical dormancy, and based on my personal experience, once you open up your eyes to the ways of the etheric everything starts looking a little bit mystical. But maybe I'm just bias.

Either way, I think human casualties could cause spiritual upset as they pass on to other realms. And it's also possible that a number of those artifacts could have held particular significance on the spiritual plane.

I'm going to do some reading on the subject and see what I can find. I'll try narrowing down the possibilities over here so you can analyze in peace.
