Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about, like.

If you do something athletic and you have...powers, do you need to report it to anyone? Like. I don't think what I can do is relevant to my sport but I'm still not sure if I need to. Tell someone or what. I just feel kind of guilty keeping a secret? I can't talk to my coach though...

IDK maybe this is a weird place to ask this, but I'm not sure where else I can. Sorry.

A friend of mine got kicked off his basketball team because his powers were an unfair advantage. But they were, you know, relevant to his sport. You're probably okay, I think.

It sounds as if you have nothing to worry about, child. If your superhuman abilities grant you no unfair advantage then you are every bit as entitled to keep your secret identity discrete from your everyday life as any hero. :)

It doesn't sound like you'd have to tell anyone, but covering your butt is always a good idea. Double-check the rules, make absolutely sure you can't use your powers to your advantage, and be prepared to argue your point or give a demonstration should someone find out about it later. I'd say to back it up with witnesses or documents if at all possible, but I realize that goes against any efforts to keep it a secret.
