[Despite his flippant disregard in speaking to Arcee on the matter, it doesn't take Starscream very long to get in touch with Megatron to inform him of the situation. He gets on a direct communication channel, chiming in without much of a warning. He sounds smugly amused in the way that he only ever sounds when he's just gotten away with doing something particularly vicious.]

Lord Megatron, I think you'll be delighted to hear that I finally have a positive ID on one of the mystery Autobots we keep hearing about, and Primus is she livid with you personally.

I cannot imagine why. [THAT SMUGNESS IS A LITTLE CONTAGIOUS... although the Orion Pax situation is still weighing on Megatron pretty heavily, it is nice to know it's bothering the Autobots as much as it is him.] And who is our angry Autobot?

Hmm. Completely irrational, isn't it? [he chuckles darkly before divulging the important details. God he loves being the first to know things. He'd be capering about happily if it weren't for the fact that he is currently streaking over the California landscape several miles in the air at top speed.] I don't suppose the name Arcee rings any bells... blue, plucky little two-wheeler with a ferocious kick... current leader of all Autobot forces in Optimus Prime's absence?

[This could be a good thing, if the Autobots are here in numbers similar to their own – extinguishing both what's left of Optimus Prime and the leader he's appointed in his stead would be a deadly blow to Autobot morale – but at the same time, if Arcee is here, it is not unlikely she's come armed with considerable backup...]

Were you able to glean any useful information from the Autobots' regent commander?

[Argh. that's where his useful info ends. Dammit.] Unfortunately, no... We already know from the last time I spoke to Orion Pax that their numbers here are apparently comparable to our own, but I'm afraid she was rather tight lipped about any other specifics. Mainly she was concerned with slinging around threats and insisting that I hurry and inform you that she's going to be coming for you. The usual theatrical heroic rot.

... While I do not believe Orion would have lied... there is every possibility the Autobots simply concealed the full extent of their presence from him. Doubtless they find his uncertainty... threatening. But... [he shakes his head, and permits himself a satisfied chuckle.] Let her come; I keenly anticipate her fury.

I had a feeling you'd say something like that. [he sounds keenly smug.] I fear I may have exacerbated her anger even more, but I'm sure that will just make things all the easier. An angry Autobot is a reckless Autobot...
