[he puts his computer down to go over and open it, BEGRUDGINGLY]

[ghost has jon's official longclaw jacket in his mouth. he sets it at karkat's feet and thrashes his tail impatiently.]

[karkat stares at him – at the coat. he stoops to pick it up.]

What the hell, dude. Did you ... find this?

[ghost thumps his tail against the floor. it was in jon's closet, because he was taken in civilian clothes. an ambush! he yips and pads back in to the hallway, glancing back at karkat expectantly.]

[GOES TO GRAB HIS CLOAK AND SCYTHES – mutters as he comes back to follow Ghost:] I can't believe I'm talking to a fucking dog.
