How did everyone who possesses powers here come to learn of them? Are they something genetic, or is it possible that some people are just born with them with no identifiable cause?

From what I've heard and read it really seems to be all over the board but I do not know how reliable my reading material is. I've never really had much cause to research it before. My family hasn't been particularly helpful with helping me figure out how all this works nor have they tried to find anyone who can give me some sort of direction.

I've read up on the Trailblazers, but I don't qualify for them. Are there any organizations for people who are younger than that age group?

((ooc; Originally was going to have Matilda start out after her family had left her, but though I might do it a couple days before, just to get some CR before she is on her own. If any plans are made they might not pan out since Matilda will be homeless in about 3 IG days but at least it could get some CR rolling.))

i did not need to learn from anyone, i grew up with them since my hatching.

yeah as far as i can tell. i don't know her all that well, but she is v enthusiastic about it.

i learned from someone else, sort of. i mean, it was more that i had people keeping an eye out and helping me as i figured them out on my own. but it was kind of a very specific situation.

sort of. i wasn't really expecting to have powers, and i had to do a lot of combat training and stuff at the same time. plus high school.

That does seem like a lot to balance. It sounds like it was also fun. Why didn't you go into the Trailblazers program?

If you're too young for the Trailblazers, the CONDOR agents will train you separately in our facilities. You won't learn much about combat, but you will learn how to use your powers. It's not kiddie jail.

After school activities, like dance class or karate. If you're having trouble controlling your powers, you can stay there and they'll homeschool you. It depends what your powers are and how you want to use them.

My brother and I were mostly trained by our dad, but when we needed more help, we went to CONDOR.

Most of them are. Some of them are too little to have powers yet.

7. Most people's powers don't manifest until they're 12 or 13. How old were you when your powers first manifested?

It's not a bad thing. It just means you'll have more time to practice than most of the superpowered kids you meet.
