VIDEO AD ON #THE WATCH
[ An embedded video ad originating from YouTube has been posted to The Watch -- and not for the first time. The latest ad for Rent-A-Swag, a recently established local business for hero costume rentals, features none other than the business's proprietor, Tom Haverford, cheesin' it up on camera to get you all to come rent sweet costumes so you can achieve the latest and greatest in superhero chic.
The ad features an awful lot of questionably DJed hip hop and flashing & blinking lights, generated courtesy of Tom's powers. ]
What's up, L.A.? Are you a new break-in to the sweet life of superheroics, or perhaps a long-time villain vindicator looking to put a new cape on an old codename? No matter your power level, you need to come down to... Rent-A-Swag!
[ For a "professionally produced" video, it looks suspiciously like something a government employee might have put together in Windows Movie Maker during office hours. That said, though, it does have a certain...pizzazz.
